Since returning after the Christmas break, the boys and girls of St. Kieran’s NS have been very busy. As well as engaging in the day to day learning across all areas of the curriculum, the boys and girls have been involved in lots of other fun filled learning initiatives. On Thursday the 20th of January an experienced potter visited the school. Fin O’Hara is one of the top potters in the country and he worked with all the classes to produce wonderful works of pottery. It was wonderful to see the creative side of the pupils being developed in producing their pieces of pottery.

As the weather is getting colder we erected a new birdfeeder. The feeder will enable us to observe different types of birds and also gives responsibility to students to ensure the birds have plenty of food and water.
