We put on our hi visibility jackets and headed to Feighrey's farm. We got to see where they grow their pumpkins. Thanks to Alan who invited us over and told us all about how the pumpkins are grown.

The Junior and Senior Rooms were busy this week baking some Halloween treats. The Junior Room made some spooky Halloween buns and the Senior Room made some barmbrack.  We celebrated National Maths Week. in St. Kieran's NS. During the week we participated in collaborative games, ICT and lots of other fun ways to learn Maths.
On Thursday 13th Michael the storyteller visited our school. Michael told stories and poems to all the classes. All of the children got to have parts in the stories and the poems and act out different scenes. It was fantastic fun. Check out our school activities page to see more photos.
On Tuesday 11th October, Melvin can to visit our school and give us a magic show all about recycling. The show was fantastic and we all really enjoyed it. Have a look at our school activities page to see more pictures.  |
