This morning as we prepared for the Easter holidays we all headed off on an Easter egg hunt. The Senior pupils each worked with a Junior pupil to find the hidden eggs. Everyone found a delicious egg. It was great fun.

We had the raising of our fourth Greenschool flag for Travel. The whole school worked very hard to be awarded the flag and we now begin work on our fifth flag for Biodiversity.
Well done to the boys and girls who were presented medals. The team won the Cumann na mBunscol football final last October. We were very fortunate to have Stephen Byrne come to present the medals. We are very proud of all the boys and girls who took part. Thank you to all who attended our open day. The pupils of the school presented different subjects to parents. They also sang, danced and played the tin whistle. Parents and children were then invited to visit the Junior Room. It was wonderful day for all involved.
Over the past five weeks, the pupils of St. Kieran's N.S. have participated in dance lessons. Lisa from Dance It Out Ireland came to teach the pupils movement and dance. It was fantastic and was enjoyed by all. Lisa presented all the pupils with certificates. We even performed one of our dances on our St. Patrick's Day Float.
Thank you to all the pupils who took part in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a wonderful day and the float looked great. Thank you to all the parents who helped to assemble the float. Our 'Get Up, Get Out, Get Active' float impressed the judges that we won the 'Exceptional Entry' prize. Well done everyone.
