St. Patrick's day parade

Thanks to all who helped out  in preparing our float for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The boys and girls staged a scene from 1916 which took place at the GPO. Patrick the rebel hoisted the flag above our GPO. On coming out of the building he exclaimed; 'An Ireland Free and Independent'. All the other rebels present responded enthusiastically to Patrick's gesture before all the rebels proudly sung Amhrán na bhFiann aloud. The judging panel clearly responded positively to the efforts of our super pupils as we were awarded the overall prize in the schools section. Maith sibhse, buachaillí agus cáilíní.
